Autumn Mask Workshop
Return to the Living Landscape: The Mask at Home in Nature
For those who have already made a mask, this workshop offers an opportunity to continue the relationship with the mask by bringing it out into the living landscape. A newer mask may be ready to discover its place in nature, while an older companion may call for a return and the possibility of discovering something new together.
We will spend the day in the varied landscape around the lovely Chatzentobelweiher in Uerikon. Each participant will have time to set out alone with their mask, allowing it to discover its own unique place within the landscape. Once each mask has found its place, we will visit them one by one as a group, witnessing each mask as it inhabits its surroundings and reveals something of its particular way of being.
Rather than a Maskenspiel in nature, the focus will remain on each mask’s individual relationship with place.
Saturday, 31 October 2026
10:00–16:30
Chatzentobelweiher, Uerikon
Workshop fee: CHF 75
This will be a small and intimate workshop, allowing plenty of time and space for each mask and its process. Please bring your own picnic lunch. If conditions allow, we’ll make a fire.
Further details about the meeting point, the walk from Uerikon Bahnhof, possible rides, and what to bring will be sent to participants before the workshop.
Weather date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
